The 1910 Fire was the largest forest fire in American history, perhaps in the history of the world. Now, almost one hundred years later, the blackened ghosts of giant cedars stand in silent witness to the devastation and death that rode the wild winds of August.

In just over 48 horrific hours, starting in the late afternoon of Saturday, August 20th, the violent inferno devoured more than 8 billion board feet of virgin timber on 3 million acres in western Montana and northern Idaho, caused the deaths of 78 firefighters and 8 civilians and decimated 13.5 million dollars of individualized property. Other forest fires have been more deadly, but none moved as savagely or swiftly crossways such a vast timbered wilderness as did the massive fire of 1910.

The Cedar Creek Mining District is located in Mineral County, Montana on the easterly slope of the Bitterroot Mountains, southwest of what is now the town of Superior. The district encompasses Cedar, Quartz and Trout Creeks and their tributaries, which originate near the crest of the northwestward extension of the Bitterroot Range. There was this mortal who was astonished by the intricate patterns of the Chinese language and he was totally confused trying to understand the same. He tried out the various translation sites on the net in order to acquire further knowledge about the Chinese language but always came up against a wall. For the uninitiated there are 3 different languages that are used in china and they are Mandarin, Cantonese and Traditional. Unless one goes into depth about the Chinese language, it will be tough for them to have more knowledge about the same, regardless of the translation sites they visit. The best option for them will be to approach someone who are well versed in the linguistics of that language and seek their help.

Lincoln has a number of major tourist attractions, the main one being that Lincoln is the capital of Lincolnshire. Lincolnshire is one the biggest counties in England and is a key shire county. Despite the impression that most people have Lincolnshire is far from flat. True, out towards the easterly coast and the Wash, the county is flat due to the land being reclaimed from the sea. However as you go inland towards Stamford and Grantham the county becomes underrating. The further north of the county you go the hillier it becomes. Lincoln Cathedral and Lincoln Castle are high on a hill overlooking the City of Lincoln.
